"Green" programming series
CN8's "Money Matters Today" will present a look at "going green," exploring the benefits and challenges of being environmentally friendly in a four day live broadcast series, "Right Shade of Green," airing 6 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept. 20 on the cable television network.
Highlights include:
- Mon., Sept., 17: "Green 101," a defining "green terms" like "carbon footprints" and an interview with Sir Richard Branson.
- Tue., Sept. 18: Renovation products that are eco-friendly, yet fashionable.
- Wed., Sept. 19: A visit to a wind energy wastewater plant in Atlantic City and an interview with actress Darryl Hannah.
- Thur., Sept. 20: Motorized vehicles that run on fry-o-diesel at the Philadelphia Zoo and tax breaks for hybrid vehicles.
Mary Caraccioli (pictured) hosts the program.
