Environmental change

CooperCable news channel CNN will air a four-hour documentary "Planet in Peril" 9 to 11 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 and Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Offering first-hand accounts of environmental strife across four continents and 13 countries are CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, wildlife biologist Jeff Corwin and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

"The environment is more than just a niche news story; it is an issue that affects every living being and warrants great attention in the press," said Cooper. "Our goal was to report not only on individual issues but to examine the interconnectivity of environmental changes."
