Mum is definitely the word

FallpathChrysanthemums have been cultivated and revered for over 2,500 years.

On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friends of the Laurelwood Arboretum will host a fundraising mum festival and fall plant sale.

The event is open to the general public and takes place on the grounds of the 30-acre arboretum, Pines Lake Drive West in Wayne.

Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 30.
