Just got my tickets today!! Question, does anyone know what the Devils Legion card is for? I can't seem to figure it out, and this is the first time I have gotten season tickets.

the legion card will be for discounts and things like that. they will let us know later. What about the train passes going up $50

This will be a historic season for Brodeur. He will very likely take two all time goaltender records this season for Wins and Shutouts.

...and I guess regular season tickets, for non ticket plan holders will be next week after all the select-a-seat is over?

No word on that individual game regular season tickets yet.

Thanks for all the updates lately, TG. Have you heard anything about any of the preseason games being televised (either home or away games)?

i wish i had a friend who could do season tickets with? i will just have to be happy with my 15 games i will be buying. i will say though that the organization is not so great with letting you get tickets early if you do not want their plans. i committed to putting a deposit down on 2 seats. i have my games picked out, but am forced to wait until the last minute because they are trying to sell their current packages. i just dont get it. i told the agent you can count on 15 games from me which is pretty much what the partial plans are offering. it is not my fault that i prefer the upper level to sit in. i really do think they are the best seats in the house, and i have sat in every section. i just want to get my tickets!!!

The ranger game on the 22nd is scheduled to be on msg.

brian, my neighbor had a flex plan that was in the $25 seats last year. i think you had to take a minimum of eight games. Did they not open that up yet?

Well, the one good thing about being a Devils fan is that there's never a risk of a sellout so I can buy discount tickets the night of the game and still get good seats.

I believe all of the Rangers' preseason games will be on MSG. I just checked their site and both games against the Devils -- Sept. 24 at Prudential Center and Sept. 27 at the Garden -- will be on.

Info from my season ticket package received yesterday:
- Tickets will be available to general public on Sept. 20
- Presale of extra tickets to season tickets holders is available from Sept. 12-19 (at discounted season ticket rates) .. so if you know someone that has season tickets- maybe they can help you out picking and choosing the games you want..

also regarding the presale ... SEASON TICKET HOLDERS PLEASE BUY UP THE MAX EXTRA TICKETS THAT YOU CAN FOR THE RANGER GAMES(4) SO WE CAN KEEP THE RAGS FANS OUT !!!!!!!

mike, do you have the extra money to buy up all the extra tickets? cause i can barely afford my season tickets let alone an extras to throw on.

ha good point.. but I'm just saying I think its a good deal if you have friends that want to pick up tickets for some of the better games (rangers, fri/sat nights, etc.) before they go on sale to the general public. There's only a $10 fee per order and considering the outrageous per-ticket and per-order charges that Ticketmaster will charge once single game tix go on sale- take advantage if you can...

Hey TG, how is Vanderbeek dealing with the demise of his old employer?

ticketmaster has individual game seats slated to begin sale on saturday 9/20 at 10am.

Mike, the ticketmaster fee is about 10 dollars too, but the problem with buying those extra tickets this far in advance for people who say they want them, is that 95% of the time, those people back out, and lets face it our economy is in the toilet, most people can't afford to swallow that loss over and over again, then the tickets go on stubhub or ebay or whatever, and then chances are they end up in the hands of rangers/flyers whoevers fans anyway

Wasn't there talk of an online ticket exchange this year? I'm not local to NJ any longer but will be heading down for a few games and would love to get good tix without getting ripped of my Ticketmaster of StubHub.

Anyone interested in buying some downstairs seats for five games so? I have 16th row behind the goal the Devils shoot at twice.

well I'm not trying to get into a discussion about the state of the economy or about the trustworthiness of friends.. I'll leave that for another forum.

But given prices being what they are, and given the fact that some season ticket holders might have trustworthy friends looking to buy tickets for the coming season:

$10 fee for ANY NUMBER OF (DISCOUNTED season ticket price)TICKETS is much better than Ticketmaster which charges something like $5 PER (full price)TICKET plus who knows what other per order charges they tack on now..

Regarding the Ticket Exchange-
It is up now on the Devils website- season ticket holders can email their tickets to anyone for a fee of $1.95 per ticket- not bad for the convenience I think. Also you can post tickets for sale- You can set the price and expiration date, there is no fee, but you receive 90% of the sale price credited to your Devils account. Not sure if anyone can buy tickets here?? Also not sure if you can post tickets at a higher price than they are initially sold??

Not sure why anyone would buy any ticket plan when you can get any seat you want the day of the game. I believe the Devils have out priced the average family with the Yankees, Mets , Jets and Giants right behind with there new stadiums. They thought Real Estate would keep going up and they think they can keep raising sport ticket prices. Devils may average as little as 14k with some nights 10k or 12K. Two more great deals by Lou...Pelley? Holik?...who gives a ##@@#. Me and my family will watch at home and save the $400

yeah you have to buy at least 8, but i want 15 so no problem. they are still not available. all you can get now is what is offered on the website, and it only pertains to the seats highlighted for each package. us flex-plan folks have to wait till almost the last minute even though i put down a $100 deposit. seems like if they know when the public sale is, and i told them that i do not want one of their plans because the seats i want are not included, than why not just let me get the seats and games i want now. it is only a week away? weird!!

jerseyjeff there is nothing like a live hockey game. nothing at all!!!

Jeff we heard you the third time, bonehead.
