Still no word on Madden

Devils center John Madden was not available during pre-game media availability. He was said to be with the training staff.

There is still no word on whether Madden will play tonight against the Islanders.

Madden was hit in the left foot with a shot by Florida's Nick Boynton 6:05 into the second period of Thursday night's 3-1 win over the Panthers.

Although Madden appeared to be hobbling at first, he finished the game and assisted on the team's second goal - scored by Paul Martin. He was seen limping after the game, though, and might not play tonight.

Hopefully MadDog will play tonight although it would be nice to see Talackson.

Madden is a guy who will play through pain, i don't expect him to be out for too long.
