Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Burns battling cancer again:

Comments

Pete

It always seems to happen to the best people. Get well soon, Burnsie.

Captain Cornholio

Is it possible that he absorbed too much chemo during the first two treatments and can't go that route anymore?

Had me fooled. I thought he looked in pretty good shape at Patrick Roy's jersey retirement ceremony.

Brodie30

Lungs? Not a good sign. This sucks.

Captain Cornholio

End of 2 in Magnitogorsk: Zurich 2, Metallurg 0

BF

Our prayers are with Pat and his family.

Chris

Keep fighting the good fight Burnsie! He's got to be tough to fight off colon and liver cancer, hopefully he's got plenty left in the tank to fight this one off too.

Jeff

Nothing but Prayers and good thoughts for Pat! A real class act.

mpf

Terrible news, get well soon.

modnarm

dang man. hope he makes it through.

Yaron

Very sad news. Wishing him the best!

Tull

oh this news is so upsetting. my thoughts are with him and his family & i pray that he makes a full and speedy recovery. <3

mikeK

This sucks. Get well, Mr. Burns.

Captain Cornholio

Final: Metallurg 2, Zurich 2

SonicDude

all the best burnsie...keep the faith...sincerely, your extended family

JerseyJeff

It would be nice for Lou to invite him to a game if he is able and have the fans recognize him for his Cup winning contribution. But don't hold your breath...Not what Lou does.

Captain Cornholio

With the game in Montreal this weekend, we might see him there. However, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, either.

The Devils also play the Panthers on Feb. 17 and the Lightning on Feb. 19. Perhaps MSG+ can get Burns to sit down with Cangialosi during an intermission.

Pearl Jammed

That would be nice so he can hear the cheers from his extended family. Like you said though Jersey Jeff i doubt it happens unfortunately

HoOn

Sad news indeed. Get Well Soon Burnsie! Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

njteech

Don't give up the fight coach...prayin' for you....

josh

I really hope the "new treatment idea" or however he put it isn't to just go out and make the most of his remaining time, but that is a destinct possiblity with lung cancer.

All the best and my hopes and prayes go out to burns for a speedy recovery.

Hey burnsie try to make it a FULL recovery this time. we want you to stick around for a while.

Salvatore from Garfield

That really sucks. Hope he gets better soon!

Christian T

Thoughts and prayers. Get well soon

EssexCntyDev

Did you ever think that maybe Burns wouldn't want the attention? He has much more important things on his plate and I can't see him wanting the recognition anyway. Don't fault Lou for something like that.

Brandon

hope he gets better!

Warren

I'm fearing the worst...and hoping for the best. Godspeed Pat!
