Two Lowell Devils' games at Prudential Center

The Devils AHL' affiliate, the Lowell Devils, will take on the Rangers' top minor league team, the Hartford Wolfpack, in a pair of regular season games at Prudential Center during the 2009-10 season.

The Lowell Devils and Wolfpack will play on Wednesday, Jan. 6 and Wednesday, Feb. 3 at The Rock. Both games will begin at 7 p.m.

Lowell Devils' season ticket holders will receive information on both games with their season ticket packages. Information on individual tickets for both games will be announced at the start of the 2009-10 season.

if fan support is good for these games, it could mean the end of the Lowell Devils and hello to the AHL in New Jersey (where they'd play i dont know).

its no secret that the Devils want their farm teams as close as possible to Newark.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? THATS AWSOME!!! I was willing to travel to see them play. Now we can finally see them actually play right here in Newark. That is a great request that we were granted. I want to get glass seats!!!! Guys, rest assure, that this game will be hard played. To some of the guys who know they wont make it in the big leagues, this is their dream come true, to play in front of thousands of Devils fans to showcase their talent.

Thanks alot with this I can't wait to see lemaire in action. I don't want to be the one starting the big lines combonation but still, do you think Vasclav Prospal is an option in the second line center, he probably has experience with fellow Czech Patrik Elias and if you put Bergfors on with him it could be a solid line. Who agrees I mean i dont know what Prospal wants but for 1-2 maybe 3 mil he could be productive for a couple of years....and we can still probably get Martin back next year...

Maybe, if they bring them to NJ, they can play in the old West Orange if its still around. I would think, that since there is no hockey in Mass, that they draw a pretty decent following. So, its a pretty tough decision to move them. I never understood why the ECHL guys play in Trenton with our AHL guys in Mass. I wish they would swap them. But that's just my opinion.

CBC announces cast of Canadian female figure skaters to join NHL greats in 'Battle of the Blades'

In addition to these world class female figure skaters, NHLers Sean Burke, Ken Daneyko and Ron Duguay have been added to complete the men's roster. They join previously announced Glenn Anderson, Tie Domi, Bob Probert, Craig Simpson and Stéphane Richer in a fierce competition of athleticism, drama and intrigue. Due to a recent injury, Lanny McDonald is unable to participate in the competition.

njdevsfn95 might want to let Lou in on the secret, he's extended the lease in Lowell a couple times as late as last year. They have a one-sided agreement with Lowell that can't be beat, as long as one of your requirements as an org is having the worst attendance in the league and to go even further last time I looked they were the worst in professional hockey attendance wise when you take out the teams and leagues that have folded. Sure Lou gives a crap...
