Northjersey.com's Fire and Ice blog is moving today.
From now on I'll be using Expression Engine to put up the blog postings.
The new address is http://blogs.northjersey.com/blogs/fireice/.
I'm told that you will be routed there from this site, beginning at 10 a,m today, but in case you aren't the new addess above is already active.
I wish I could have given a little more notice, but I didn't find out until last night myself.
The new site will allow me to do more and I think you guys who have complained about the format of this page will like the new design.
Look forward to seeing you there.

TG,
The link comes up as broken?

Copy and paste it. TG, the new site looks great. Thanks for switching to a light background with dark text. Much easier on the eyes.

TG, hopefully the new site requires you to sign up for your own id so that idiots can use other people's id's to post stupid things

Shhhhhhhh, don't tell ALF.

John Z: Are you kidding? Staring at a white background for hours is like staring at a light bulb. Did you know Microsoft word as an option to change the background color to something a little more conforting??

Thanks John. Should have thought of that. Looks awesome TG!

how do you register??
Posted by: Joey | October 07, 2009 at 09:17 AM
I fixed the link. For some reason, the period got connected to the link address and was causing the error.
It appears to work properly now.

how do you register??
A lot going on here. I always found pleasure in the simplicity of the old Fire and Ice.

Booo...bring back the black background. So much easier on the eyes.
Posted by: Steve | October 07, 2009 at 09:29 AM
Not to beat a dead horse here, but I can't figure out how to register either.

TG...looks like the RSS feed is incorrect. Added it to my igoogle page and all the links point to the generic NorthJersey.com sports blogs homepage. You should go yell at whoever made this decision. Your format is still the best.

What it...u put ur email in, everyone that visits can click your name be directed to ur email. I guess you could put a fake one in..but I'm not feeling this at all, TG.
Who exactly complained about the old site? IT was money!
Old site said...(Name and email address are required. Email address will not be displayed with the comment.) New site, does the opposite.

Rats. I had enjoyed the rarity of a popup free, advertisement free, blinking and flashing CLICK ME!!! free website for my sports news. Business is biznass I suppose.

TG -- on the new site if u put ur email in, everyone that visits can click your name be directed to ur email. I guess you could put a fake one in..but I'm not feeling this at all, TG.
Old site said and I quote...(Name and email address are required. Email address will not be displayed with the comment.) New site, does the opposite.
I will miss the old site.

Hey TG. One suggestion I have on the new site is to make the columns on the sides smaller. Your posts, and all the comments, get squished in the middle of the webpage and makes it look very cluttered and unappealing.
Posted by: Boston Mike | October 07, 2009 at 09:42 AM
I'm trying to figure it out like you guys. I'll register the complaints. I've already put a couple in.
Please try to give it a chance.

Duuuude...I hate to be a hardon here, but I still can't register.

Has anyone tried posting a comment on the new post on the new site?
Is that not working? Or do people not want to because they don't want their e-mail addresses to accessible?
Posted by: TG | October 07, 2009 at 09:47 AM
Hey TG, I've tried to post a comment on the new site and it isn't working. I did include my address too when I tried.
