What prompted you to get this test done?

enjoying the down comforter and the fireplace.
hope you caught channel 7 eyewitness news coverage of robotic prostate surgery. i hope you never need it, but it answers a lot of questions and poses others. there are pros and cons of the new technique.

We just turned on the space heater in the living room after hearing someone say it's going to snow - yes, snow - on Friday. What ever happened to SEASONS? And my entire front porch is now filled with geraniums and impatiens I rescued from the outside. Now I have to figure out where to put them!

i enjoyed your column today as well. 'round these parts it's saw palmetto!! recommended by my health nazi brother. just owning the jar shrinks that pesky prostate. i'm waiting...

I had to go to the pharmacy for refills and to return my Mom's plethora of medications for disposal. I started losing it before I even walked in the door.

The woman that works there...in one of those odd coincidences, her mother was my mother's roommate during one of her St. Mary stays earlier this year....she passed away too.

There was also something about handing over those pills. It seemed I spent half my life goiong there between the two of us.

Then I decided to stop at the cemetery because it was 52 yrs ago yesterday my father died.

I don't know if I feel sorry for myself....I'm in a the heck with everything mode because nothing is going to change things.

As for the heat....let's face it...it's like turning on a cash machine for Public Service.....and my Mom will even have a hand in that. She was always cold because of, as Bill said, blood thinnners. I'd be walking around here in a tank top and shorts in the middle of winter because it was so hot in here. So I guess we'll turn ours on when we feel the need.

linda--your mom just died, it's the anniversary of your father's death. i'd say you have a right to be feeling sorry for yourself. these things take time and you are going to take two steps forward and one step back. i'd guess it's going to be a while before you bounce back.

Linda

lwt.....feeling like this sucks. I still get weepy over my brother-in-law. I even found a newspaper clipping among my mother's things of an advertisement for his business with a large picture of him. I hope he's keeping her laughing in heaven.
