i walked in at half-past six and there was no one there except the poll workers. i remember gubernatorial elections where the line to get in and vote was out the door at quarter to six, before the polls even opened. my husband went down at half past one, and there was no one there, then either. i'm going to be really pissed if christie wins.

lwt - me three.
Every election day, I remember the mantra claimed by Bob and Ray as Chicago's Daley era slogan - "Don't forget to vote early and often..." I haven't yet, but I will. Keeping my finger's crossed for my friends on the FL council and my Independent friend running for the big one in NJ.

me four ----there were just a few people at my polling place ---

me five ....There was only one person ahead of me. I guess there was voter apathy this year. People are disgusted with the economy and didn't believe what either candidiate was saying. Gee, remember the turnout in the presidential election last year?

Very proud of my 21 year old son. He came back from college in Brooklyn to be one of the first to vote. This was told to my mom, husband and myself by a poll worker we all know. Of course he could of used an absentee ballot, but where is the fun in that? Sometimes kids just make you so happy.

Geeze - if you are going to keep deleting things I post because I am expressing my opinions, why should I bother? (I posted - saw the posts - and suddenly, they are gone.)
