Wow, another dreary day. I'm guessing your clocks have been adjusted. I wound up going to a Halloween party last night. Most of my friends were in some sort of costume. I decided to by-pass that part of the holiday and just wore some light gray jeans, a striped shirt and a cap. At one point some guy said to me, "Great costume!" I thought he was kidding. He said, "Oh, I'm sorry. Aren't you supposed to be Waldo?"
My friend Louise and I talked about seeing the Michael Jackson movie tomorrow. I've heard it's good and so I'm hoping we can work that out.
I did join a gym last weekend, but haven't gone yet. I need a combination lock and some other gear. It's been so long since I've done that workout thang, so I'm going to start slowly and see what happens. Like most of us, I sometimes push myself doing something around the house and feel that weird twinge for an hour or so. Just because you have the energy to do a serious workout doesn't mean you're necessarily up to it. It's always a good idea to start slowly, especially when you're a little older than you used to be.
I hope to see some other old friends this week, maybe go out for dinner a couple of times and then -- ho-hum -- go back to work.
I think the blog changeover is happening this week. If I have problems with the new software I will write something in the most recent comments section to let you know...
Oh my Lord...you DO look like Waldo...hahahahaha!
My 2 sisters and 2 of my nieces went to a bread and breakfast in the boonies for the weekend. I said you guys are going to be in a rural area for Halloween....4 women alone....they said it would take 3 hrs to get there....think Jamie Lee Curtis.
I have no intention of ever going someplace where they have animals that are bigger than I am.
I happened to be by the window this morning when someone stopped their car to write down the number on my landlord's for sale sign. By the looks of the car he was driving I think this place is out of his reach....besides which Mr. Landlord is in la-la land if he thinks he can get $500,000 for this place.

bill--if you can't post anything on your side, what makes you think we will be able to on ours? or that you will be able to on ours? i don't see why they are changing it. it works fine.

O.K. I just got back on the blog because my computer genius son helped me and now you tell me you're changing it? Yikes! Good luck, I hope that I'll be able to follow. Have to go back to work tomorrow after a week's vacation, not sure if that's good or bad, since the job's in danger of evaporating but I'm just hanging on since I've been there so long. Never a dull moment.

My younger daughter and her friends were dressed as a quintet of "Waldo's". At one point, they were at the Garden State Plaza JC Penney's store and lost one of the gang, so, of course, they immediately started asking people "Where's Waldo" - going up and down the escalators and such. Eventually they found him, and made so much noise, they had a crowd around them, all laughing at them. As soon as I can, I'll post the Waldo's on Facebook. P.S - you need the geeky glasses for your costume next time!

Sorry for the slow slow response lwt. I had my appendix removed (um...not expectedly) last Tuesday. I've lost 30 pounds in the last 7 days. Who said that little bitty organ does nothing!
