Brookside Bistro closed

The Brookside Bistro in Saddle River has closed -- the second restaurant in that location to close in the last seven months. Simon's of Saddle River closed in April after about six months of business.

A sign on the door indicates the restaurant is closed for renovations, saying "I hope the inconcienance [sic] will be worth it," it says, but there was no construction permit or signs of construction visible through the window. Phone calls and e-mails to owner Steve DiLorenzo were not immediately returned.
