The owners of Villa Rustica in Northvale and Baggio's in Fort Lee have opened Angelo's Allendale Pizza on West Allendale Avenue. The menu touts thin-crust pizza, and also includes sandwiches, pastas and Parmesans, although not with a monstrous selection.
Angelo's Allendale Pizza is at 83 W. Allendale Ave., Allendale; 201-995-1100.
I find a lot of takeout pizza to be mediocre. Heavy, salty, oily, bland and doughy. I guess they are trying to keep things cheap. Or you have the more upscale pizza places like A Mano, California Pizza Kitchen, that do a nice job. I'm looking forward to PIZZA FUSION in Ridgewood.

No, I just meant it's not the run-of-the-mill pizza takeout joints.
