Shalom Bombay opens

Shalom Bombay, a glatt kosher Indian restaurant, has opened in Teaneck, replacing Taj Palace, which relocated to the Cedar Lane business district.

The restaurant features glatt kosher chicken, lamb and beef dishes, as well as more than a dozen vegetarian entrees. Desserts include non-dairy rice pudding and ice cream.

The restaurant is under the supervision of the Rabbinical Council of Bergen County.

Shalom Bombay is at 166 Cedar Lane, Teaneck; 201-357-8505. Its Web site, shalombombay.com, does not appear to be online.
