Finally, things are looking up for homegirl Ariane Duarte, a contestant on this season's Top Chef. (She's from Verona and has a restaurant in Montclair...close enough.) After a couple of disasters, she pulled herself back with good turkey last week and last night actually won a challenge with Jersey tomato and watermelon salad. And thankfully, it was not the one dish that Kathie Lee actually spit out.
Ariane's reward (along with a Rocco DeSpirito tool pack - woo!) was to be an appearance on the Today show this morning. Here's another recipe of hers, for mushroom and goat cheese bruschetta.
