Wine dinner at Amanda's

Amanda's in Hoboken is hosting what it calls a "recession-proof" wine dinner, with five Latin-inspired courses and seven wines from the Finca Las Moras vineyards.at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28. The price is $42.50 -- half the normal price.

Amanda's is at 908 Washington St., Hoboken; 201-798-0101; amandasrestaurant.com.
