Today in Better Living, Elisa Ung gives two stars to Fire & Oak, the second Bergen County restaurant from the owners of the South City Restaurant Group.
(And yes, observant readers, the photos are from an earlier story. A new photo session was canceled at the restaurant's request.)
Also today, a profile of the new Sergio's Bistro in Lodi.

We went here for brunch 2 weeks ago. Our first server was no good. The second was better. The food came out cold and we would have let the server know, but no one ever came to check on us. I also would have ordered another drink, but no one came by. Maybe if they could have torn themselves from the loud conversation they were having at the bar, they would have made another sale and a returning customer.
