Upcoming wine, beer events

Wineglasses A few noteworthy events coming in the next few weeks:

Italian wine dinner at Amanda’s: The restaurant will host a five-course wine dinner with five pairings from David Vincent Selection at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The wines will be introduced by David Vincent Selection founder David Servello. The price is $65 and reservations are required. 908 Washington St., Hoboken; 201-798-0101; amandasrestaurant.com. Samuel Adams beer dinner at Lava: The restaurant will host a four-course dinner with beer pairings from Bottle King at 7 p.m. Oct. 20. The price is $48 and tickets are required. 344 French Hill Road, Wayne. More information or tickets: bottleking.com. Menu here.

Mondavi wine dinner at Morton’s: The steakhouse will host a four-course wine dinner and reception with pairings selected by Michael Mondavi of Folio Wine Group at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22. The price is $150, including tax and tip, and proceeds benefit Feeding America. At The Shops At Riverside, Hackensack; 201-487-1303; mortons.com. Menu here.

Wanaque Wine & Microbrew Festival: The walk-around style tasting and buffet dinner will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at Berta’s Chateau. The wines will be selected by Crown Liquors and High Point Wines, and food will be from Berta’s and the Tree Tavern. The price is $59 and advance tickets are required.
