The House approved a $146 billion stimulus package today that includes rebates of $600 for individuals and $1,200 for couples that have earnings of at least $3,000 and don't exceed income limits.
The vote was 385-35, with everyone in the New Jersey delegation supporting the bill.
Indviduals who make more than $87,000 and couples making more than $174,000 would not get rebates under the House bill. They would get them under a Senate bill that will be the focus of a hearing tomorrow.
