La Cucaracha from Paterson ice cream truck

Ice_cream_truckHanging in Edison on Friday, I noticed a Mister Softee truck playing the Mexican folk song "La Cucaracha." Did not expect to hear that. Ha. Awesome.

What music do ice cream trucks play in Paterson? Or Clifton? I've only heard the standard Mister Softee song but I'm sure other trucks play more...fill me in, as I shake my imaginary maracas.

They play that tune in Maryland, too. Why a cockroach wanting a joint would be a good motivator for buying ice cream I have NO idea.
