No Star Balloting, Round III
It's hard to argue with the results, but it is a little surprising with the crowds at Shea Stadium that the Mets are being shut out in the All-Star balloting. Either fans at Shea are taking their task seriously and voting for the best, or there is a lot of resentment towards this team.
The latest balloting is up on MLB.com. You can view it there, or you can check it out below the fold. All you need to know though is that Kaz Matsui has more votes than Jose Reyes. That's what this year is like.

I'm a huge Mets fan, and like to see them in the All-Star game, but at this point, I can't find a reason to vote for anyone other than D. Wright on this team.

I refuse to vote for Mets straight down the ballot. I've done that in years past, but I'm not doing it this year. The guys who are currently leading deserve their place among the leaders. As much as I love Wright and dislike, but respect Chipper, how can I displace a guy who's hitting .400 with one who's hitting .270?
