The Mets shuffled their lineup, pulling Carlos Delgado because of a problem with his hip, injured when he hit a triple Sunday.
The lineup now is:
Reyes SS Castillo 2B Beltran CF Sheffield LF Wright 3B Church RF Tatis 1B Santos C Maine P
Tatis was originally at 2B but shuffled with Delgado out. And no switch was enough to get Daniel Murphy in the lineup.

any word on how serious delgado's hip issue is? is he expected to be back in the lineup tonight?
also, i know we're just starting this season and maybe i'm getting ahead of myself, but how do you think the club will address the 1st base situation when delgado becomes a free agent? or is it too early to even speculate...?

Delgado's hip seems to have issues. He missed time in '07 and '08 with it. Although I think '08 was just spring training.
