Gay won't go to Jets

Well, here's a former Patriot the Jets won't be getting. Free-agent CB Randall Gay, whom the Jets were interested in, is likely to sign with New Orleans, from what I'm told. The Jets never really made a firm offer to Gay, so they'll have to look elsewhere to find a starting corner to team with young stud Darrelle Revis. Philadelphia's Randall James could be on their radar screen.

They still are pursuing Detroit RT Damien Woody and Arizona LB Calvin Pace, whom they feel could be an edge rusher in their 3-4 system.
