Jets sign Ainge

The Jets continued their flurry of rookie draft-pick signings today, inking fifth-rounder Erik Ainge, a quarterback from Tennessee. Terms were not disclosed, but it's believed to be a four-year deal, as the Jets' rookie contracts usually are. They also signed fourth-rounder Dwight Lowery (CB, San Jose State) yesterday, so that leaves only two unsigned picks. Those are the two first-rounders, LB Vernon Gholston (Ohio State) and TE Dustin Keller (Purdue). After the protracted impasse between the Jets and first-round pick Darrelle Revis last season, I'd be surprised if Gholston and Keller aren't in the fold by the time camp opens next Thursday.

The Jets also signed a rookie free agent, OL Kyle DeVan from Oregon State.
