The 2007 Jets: where are they now?

Just wanted to take a quick look at the current NFL whereabouts of some of the players the Jets cut loose during and after the 2007 season and after training camp.

T Anthony Clement, New England, IR [knee].  TE Jason Pociask, claimed off waivers by New England and then released. G Adrien Clarke, released by Baltimore. WR Justin McCareins, Tennessee, has been limited in practice this week by illness. QB Chad Pennington, well, you know that one. FB Darian Barnes, Buffalo, starting [should be interesting when the Bills play the Jets; he was released five weeks BEFORE the 2007 season ended]. T Jacob Bender, New England, practice squad. S Erik Coleman, Atlanta, starting. LB Victor Hobson, New England, released. OL Wade Smith, Kansas City. LB Jonathan Vilma, New Orleans, starting. DT Dewayne Robertson, Denver, starting. QB Marques Tuiasosopo, Oakland, reserve. TE Sean Ryan, Miami.

Two of the bigger travesties of the Herman Edwards era, even more so than the Rich Kotite debacle, were the losses of Farrior (first round draft pick under Parcells, and 6 times all pro) with nothing in exchange; followed by the chasing of Lamont Jordan out of town.

Yeah, Herm could write a book (after accomplishing nothing), and keep a guy making $3 million a year from jumping off a bridge, but thank god that KC has a soft spot for losers! KC had eleven draft picks last year, and I wonder what that braintrust Edwards did with them?

I can't argue with your points about Farrior and Jordan. I think Jordan's career might be going differently had he stayed with the Jets.
