Dearth and taxes. As in Jets long snapper James Dearth. Yet another pretender to the throne has been cut loose, as the Jets just waived undrafted free agent long snapper/DT Anthony Harris. Interestingly, Harris bounced one snap in a punting drill this morning, and that certainly didn't help his cause.
Too bad. Harris had an interesting backstory, and had last played in an indoor football league. But beating out Dearth isn't easy, as many potential snappers can attest to.
True. Better have it in a simple way.
