You probably didn't see John Tortorella's post-game press conference on MSG after the game, considering it lasted all of 30 seconds.
Ending a bad day with the media (not to mention a brutal game by his team), Tortorella was asked whether there was a common theme from the time the Rangers were up 4-1 until they were tied 4-4.
"Yeah, I thought we sucked," Tortorella said. "Right on through the game. I think we're fortunate to get a point, very fortunate to get that."
The follow-up was about Rangers players saying how hard it is to flick a switch - they started poorly in the first period and, even when they were up 4-1.
"I don't give a &*$#(@ what the guys talked about," Tortorella said. "We sucked."
And with that, Tortorella stormed off, even as a question about why Nikolai Zherdev wasn't used in the shootout was being asked - twice.
Even the players are a little curious as to what tonight's charter flight to Pittsburgh and tomorrow's practice are going to be like.
UPDATE: I'm told MSG did, in fact, air the first question and answer. Obviously, they passed on the second clip.
Good for torts... they did fucking suck tonight. The only thing worse mightve been the Atlanta color commentary team, they were horrific.
wait... no... the rangers were worse.

Wait Andrew, did any of you ask Torts if he thought the team had "given them (Atlanta) something to think about?"
