I'm committed to this blog even through the transition phases! Haha!

I wonder if the new platform will have the same index words so you can still search for "Ranger Rants" in Google, just in case one doesn't know how to bookmark.

Oh no...

I hope there are no glitches or issues. The Blueshirt Bulletin also seems to be imploding as we speak. I'm running out of places to find my NYR info.

Keith

I think it seems to be fine so far...
Hey has anyone noticed Hank's helmet is little different than last year? I wondered if anyone knew why he changed it a bit and added those symbols to the front-I like it but I'd like to know the symbolism on that-any help ANDREW?

Also-I am thinking about doing a little counter during the season for every time Hank 'heads' the puck-it's a little bit sick that he does that (almost as if he's a soccer guy) but I think it would be funny to see how many times he does it during the year. Fill me in if I miss some guys-
So far 'Hank's puck heading counter' is at 1

twin

the symbols are the three kronos or crowns...same design as on the Swedish flag except on the flag they are yellow on a blue background and on his mask they are red.

Charles

I remember Newsday had a terrible problem with the whole blog shift over about a month ago. Very annoying. Hopefully this runs a little smoother than that transition.

Good question Keith about HL, good answer Twin.

LI Den

As Charles alluded to, Newsday had significant problems shifting not just their blogs, but their entire website to a new platform and design. The blogs and related RSS feeds seem to have stabilized, but there are still issues on the main website. Hope this goes smoother, Andrew.

Keith

Cool-I knew I had seen those symbols before! Thanks TWIN!
