Ronaldo Part VIII: The rumor that won't die
Just when you thought Ronaldo's move to AC Milan was done and we could stop wondering about a potential move to the Red Bulls, Madrid finds a way to prolong things. Negotiations between the European giants has stalled, leaving Ronaldo's transfer in limbo. These guys are going to do battle right up to the deadline. You know what's funny. You just know that Real Madrid is using MLS as leverage. Can you just imagine that?
So when will it end? When Ronaldo takes the field at the San Siro. Until then we'll be tortured by this endless transfer saga that has turned into the Friday the 13th movie series. If Red Bulls fans are lucky, the saga will end with Ronaldo taking Manhattan.
Ives,
Thanks for all the updates. This is the first blog I've followed religiously. I really appreciated all the hard work! I think we're all hoping for high impact signing; thanks for keeping us posted, so to speak.

I agree with AG Nigrin. No more vacationers to MLS!
And yes, your blog is top notch and the first place I check for my soccer fix!
