Why on earth would Bob Bradley bring his 'A' team to this sorry excuse of a tournament and his 'B' team to the Copa America one week later? I realize the winner of this tourney gets to go on and play in a better tournament, but that logic seems crazy given that you can play some of the world's best competition the following week without having to win the Gold Cup.

Boy, I hope we don't get drawn against Guadeloupe.

how far has jamaica fallen? they didn't even qualify.

Isn't it more likely that Mexico will be in Giants Stadium rather than the USA? According to CONCACAF, one group will play 2 games at the HDC and 1 at Gillette. Another group will play 2 at the Swamp and 1 in Houston. I just don't see Mexico playing in Foxboro over Houston.

The US will still likely have to face Mexico or Costa Rica if not both teams; neither team is a pushover and Mexico is really going to be pushing to beat the USMNT. You have to bring your best squad for this tournament. There is too much on the line.

Howard, Cherundolo, Gooch, Bocanegra, a 4th defender who has stepped his game up, Beasley, Dempsey, Mastroeni, Convey (I would have both Beasley and Convey on the squad), Donovan and the hot MLS forward (if no one then unretire McBride). Players like Clark, Mapp ready to come off the bench.

I agree with Tim and BBradley.. the Gold Up is crucial for us to maintain our dominance in the region and get to the Confeds Cup in South Africa in 2009... Copa America will be interesting this time around as we will have our B team playing Argentina. The last time we played Argentina in Copa America they took the US lightly and played their B team. The USA won 3-0! Somehow I think even our B team will give them a run for their $.

what the hell are you americans sending a B team you guys sux you should send a A team since when dose the USA bring a B team to copa america crackers please you think you guys are better then any team mexico all the way
