No Way Toure
The Red Bulls have declined to offer Liberian winger Ansu Toure a contract, team sources revealed on Tuesday. The fact that he was too old to play under a developmental contract prevented him from getting an extended look and the arrival of Clint Mathis couldn't have helped matters.
At least Bruce at DuNord will be happy to have Toure back in Minnesota, assuming he goes back to play there.
Ives, I've made the move to NY/NJ. Drove by Giants Stadium (aka Red Bulls Park) today. Exciting. Did I see on the billboard that there are some games gonna be played there in June?

That is unlucky about Toure... especially since he wasn't cut until the last week.
Someone should create the fantasy MLS group (SBI) and have us all play there. I am computer illiterate or else I would.
Cheers. Can't wait until the weekend.

The General Manager of the Minnesota Thunder has indicated that he hopes to have Toure back.

Hey Emory, check out http://redbull.newyork.mlsnet.com/ for the full schedule. Tickets are affordable and always available if you want to check out a game.
Don't call the stadium Red Bull Park though! Red Bull Park will be WAY better when it's complete. :P
There's even a webcam of the construction site: http://redbullpark.com/.
Hope you get out to some games, it's a good time.

I liked the fantasy idea... so here it is, go to mlsnet.com and click the fantasy tab and sign up, league name to join is simply "SBI League", it's public so everyone join up! Unfortunately it limits how many you can have from any one team now, so I can't stick to my primarily red bulls roster haha.

a small however good fantasy league is major fantasy league soccer. mfls.com - it averages only about 1500 players a year however is pretty competitive.

I'm going to play http://www.soccerfantasypro.com/ this season. Their player values update every day, formations are flexible, and I like the fact that shots on goal earn points.
