Ubiparipovic trains, Kovalenko's healing facial injuries
Red Bulls midfielder Sinisa Ubiparipovic trained today and looked pretty sharp doing it. He showed no signs of having been in a car accident that left teammate Dema Kovalenko needing stitches in his face.
Both players escaped serious injuries from the accident, which took place during the weekend. Kovalenko did not attent practice and Bruce Arena said he didn't know when Kovalenko would return, stating that what matters is that Kovalenko survived the accident. It appears that Kovalenko suffered facial injuries in the accident.
It looks like Ubiparipovic will be available for the Toronto match on Sunday. It remains unclear whether Kovalenko will be back for that match.
glad to hear they are ok.
BTW- Ramon Nunez about to depart Dallas, any lead on where he will end up? Quite a few teams could use him, imo.
