SBI Reader Roll Call (Take Four)

Good afternoon all. It is time to bring back the reader roll call one final time. We're at almost 800 responses and I really want to see if we can get to 1,000. Just remember, if you've provided your info here before please don't add it again. Those of you who haven't taken part yet can keep reading on.

(Alert, if the next three paragraphs sound familiar it's because they're basically the same from the last three times I did roll calls.)

You've heard about the SBI Mafia, but what remains unknown is where all the readers are checking in from. There have been comments from all over the US, Europe and Asia. Now it's time to get a real sense of where everybody is.

Let's hear it. Tell me where you're from. Post your name (comment nickname if it's different) and where you're posting from. You can also share what clubs you support but that's about it (No zodiac signs or favorite movies, this isn't MySpace.) Now, if you already posted your information below PLEASE do not post it again.

I plan to post a detailed breakdown of where SBI readers are checking in from. I can say based on the early returns that New Jersey/New York, DC/Virginia/Maryland and California lead the way as 45 states and 14 countries have been represented in the roll call. Since the number of hits the blog gets has increased considerably since the last roll call I'm hoping for enough responses to create a good sample of where SBI readers are checking in from:

Fire away folks, let's give the SBI Mafia an identify. Post your info below.

Comments

Kevin, Nutley/Hoboken, NJ (home/work)

Oops...forgot the clubs. RBNY above all others, been a season ticket holder every year since MLS began.

I also support Man United and to a lesser degree follow with interest Everton, Barcelona, and Inter. Wouldn't say I'm a true supporter for any of those though.

Morgantown, WV but I'm just a lurker :)

Sidenetting: Chicagoland.

Fire till I die, even if we continue to trot out far too many 5'6" defensive midfielders each game.

I also have an unexplained soft spot for RSL, except when they play the Fire.

Pat Eyler from Provo, UT. I'm an (unhappy) RSL fan and a (very happy) BYU Cougars (PDL) fan.

JB - Jeff:
Germany
support DC United, Tottenham, Man U, Portland Timbers.

Nick - Richmond, Va
support RBNY, Richmond Kickers, Mainz 05, and of course USA and Germany

Will from the Lower East Side in NYC, have aligned with Metro/RBNY since inception. Also follow Barca, and the Ecuadorian and US national teams. Gracias por todos los informes y trabajo hermano. Saludos.

Posting Name: James (although I think I'll switch to JRNail, since James is pretty generic)
Location: Alexandria, VA (home)/DC (work)
Clubs: DC United, USMNT; no real allegiances to any European clubs, just a supporter of our yanks abroad in general.

Currently reside in Champaign IL.

I lurk more than I post, but enjoy the intelligent convo that goes on here more than anywhere else.

Support: Everton and Toronto FC, but enjoy watching ManU as well.

Allentown, PA

Support RBNY, Arsenal, PSG, but above all...

FORZA LAZIO!

Jasen
Morris County, NJ
USMNT, Metro

follow the EPL really closely, but still not tied to any specific team.

Nick from Saratoga, NY. I support Man United along with RBNY and Sporting CP and of course the USMNT.

Dan
Sahuarita, AZ

USMNT, Gremio, Galaxy

Greg - Richmond, VA - D.C. United, Arsenal, and I'll now be following Barca more closely :)

And like Dave above, I'm more of a reader than a commentor

Shaj from suburban maryland
support manu, barca, milan,

Clarksville, Tennessee
DC United Fan, USMNT Fan

Warren, Irvington NJ, support RBNY (and Metro before that) and Manchester United for clubs and the USMNT. I also regularly follow the unintentional comic drama that is the English national team.

I'm in Manhattan, often posting from Budapest, Hungary

Dan

West Orange, NJ (home)/NYC (Work) (haha I check the site as much there as anywhere!)

Clubs: West Ham United, & RBNY

Of course US MNT above both. I'm more Eurosnob than RBNY fan (though a partial season ticket holder, so I'm a big RBNY fan)

Jonathan
Attleboro, MA

RBNY, USMNT, ManU., Syracuse Salty Dogs RIP.

How come I end up living 15 minutes away from the WRONG MLS stadium!?

Mark
Connecticut
RBNY (since 2003)
Follow Yanks abroad and of course USMNT since 89. (Dating myself I guess.)
NM

Steve E.
Rochester, NY
Red Bulls and United States, in games not involving either I just like to see exciting teams

Rocco

Morris County, NJ

More of a reader than contributor. MNT, NYRB, Seria A & EPL.

Frank the Frowner, Lodi NJ

Red Bulls, USMNT, Italia.
