Good morning folks. Yes, I am awake (barely) and am about to head to Summer's in Arlinton VA. The lineup for today's match is out and the only variation from my proposed lineup is Heath Pearce at left back (with Feilhaber on the right wing and Bradley in central midfield)
I will attempt to do some running commentary from Summer's but if I can't you can at least post your thoughts on the match here.
Enjoy the match
Freddy's first start. Lets hope get gets some time on the field while Jozy is on there too.

Really hoping to see positive things from Jozy, Adu and Edu. Go US

good line-up like to see pearce hope he can get into the attack as well as cherundulo can. Hopefully dempsey lets adu come back to the ball so we can see his amazing touch at work and mabye he'll even take on a few defenders.

I would have switched up Beasley and Bradley. I don't think the position Beasley is in is going to give him enough room to attack; Bradley will be in his way.

So, in other words, here is the lineup Ives is reporting:
-----------Dempsey------------
------------------------------
Beasley-----Adu------Feilhaber
---------Edu---Bradley--------
-------------------------------
Pearce---Boca---Gooch-----Dolo
-------------------------------
------------Howard-------------

Jozy for Feilhaber at the half, moving Bradley out wide? That would be fun to watch.

I like this line up, but my dream would be to put altidore up top, put Demps where feilhaber is and let him and Beaz be the wings, then put Feilhaber where Edu is, but bring Edu in later in the match for either Bradley Jr or Benny.

I do not see Jozy on the bench at all, did he make the trip?

The ref looks like Blanco's nerdy older brother.

that would make him at least 55...hide the sharp knives

Adu nice moves!

Adu on the spin.

Of all things Freddy brings, his dead ball strikes are what I'm most excited for. He actually put the ball in places for his teammates to get on the other end of it. His right footed service is better than Landon's!

woohoo, who knew pearce would start? Freddy does look comfortable. Anybody else see that crappy slip up by the feed showing an empty office? Terrible!
Posted by: Zach Tatum | November 17, 2007 at 09:23 AM
Yeah, what is up with that office thing??
Posted by: Alex | November 17, 2007 at 09:26 AM
ok, i know it's early, but when is the us going to learn to maintain possession through midfield? i was hoping bob bradley could teach our young guys this simple tactic. our typical long-ball offense is ineffective against decent teams. frustrated with the american boot-ball.

wow FSC get your act together!

And now a big black thing on the left side of the screen. This is bad, I hope it doesn't continue through the whole match.

Adu's corners are so much better than Donovan's...
And I'm a Donovan fan.
