always fascinating watching the U-17's. check out the groups through the years they've had in residency at Bradenton: http://www.ussoccer.com/common/stContent.jsp_123-ResProgram.html . there are always a couple who go on to become great players. now I'm sure because of the lack of MLS youth programs they got more of a pick of the best, but imagine if there was Bradenton plus a quality program like it for each MLS team. will be great for developing US talent

Setanta included in January? Is it going to be included in most sports packages starting then?

Liverpool is currently on form and Reading is in for a hard time.
If Benitez needs to continue with his winning streak, he will have lots more bargaining chips in the discussion with owners Hicks and Gillet.

Bobby Convey is looking great for Reading in the early stages. He played a great pass that led to the penalty for Reading, and had a cracker of a shot that was just inches over the top corner and Reina had no chance on it. Until Beasley is back, healthy and firing on all cylinders, Convey is our answer out wide on the left.

Convey Man of the Match according to Reading fans. Only caught the last 25 minutes of the game. Fantastic result for Reading.

Michael Bradley records a Hat trick for Heerenveen, currently 4-2!

I also want to congratulate Bradley for his interview on TV in Dutch. I don't think this is unrelated to his success. It's been said many times -- if you don't learn the language, you will have a hard time making it in Europe.
I want to see Freddy doing some interviews in Portuguese soon.
