Sample Sale Productions brings discounted designer handbags to Fort Lee for its first-ever Jersey-side event. Featuring Chanel and vintage pieces from LadyBag International, the two-day sale began this morning and is open till 8 tonight, and goes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow.

Nordstrom has developed an eco-chic, reusable shopping tote that will be available for purchase beginning Monday, May 19. The tote zips into a small rectangle shape (7" x 6.25") making it easy to keep in your handbag and ready for use anytime, anywhere. Each metallic brushed linen tote features a cityscape illustration by famed artist Ruben Toledo. The bag will retail for $21.95 and will be available in Accessories departments at Nordstrom and online at nordstrom.com.

In celebration of the upcoming "Sex and the City" movie release, Tender Is the Night lingerie boutique in Westwood is hosting a party from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The shop is partnering with lingerie brand Cosabella, which has created fashion lines based on each of the "SATC" characters, and the event will feature an informal fashion show, drawings for lingerie prizes, and a trivia contest.
Guests will be treated to goodie bags and refreshments, which will include Carrie's cocktails and Charlotte's hors d'oeuvres.

"Every oil that we have smells like the original cologne or perfume," says owner Karim "Mr. Kay" Ben-Fredj. "People are always asking us, 'How is this possible?' "
Scentsational Shoppe specializes in more than 700 original fragrance oils, many of which smell exactly like designer perfumes. Because scents cannot be patented by law, the only real difference between Scentsational Shoppe fragrances and the expensive kind is name and packaging, Ben-Fredj says.
