The Bombay Company, a retailer of fine home furnishings, announced three weeks ago that it would be closing all U.S. stores. Right now all locations are conducting going out of business sales with 20-40 % off of all merchandise that is in stock. I was recently at the Garden State Plaza store and they had Christmas ornaments in stock.
Area shops include: Garden State Plaza and Paramus Park in Paramus, The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, Tice Corner in Woodcliff Lake, City Place at Promenade in Edgewater, Willowbrook Mall in Wayne and Palisades Center in West Nyack. The Palisades Center store also features a Bombay Kids concept store.
Most locations will be open until Christmas. So stock up and save!
It bites when companies go out of business, especially when thay are such well known companies as The Bombay Company. Maybe they should have gotten into Fine Jewelry and not just furnishings.
