I just visited the short hills mall and it's a great way to spend a rainy day.
I was sad to see there was no food court..but I tried Legal Seafood...it's rather pricey in there but I swear I had the best..and I mean absoultely the best New England Clam Chowder I've had!
There are so many stores there.
Gucci
Channel (check out their boots!)
Space NK (they sell fakai and lipstick queen!)
DKNY (check out their new collecton!)
New Jersey has tax free shopping to (to those of you who don't know)Essex County is the way to go on a rainy day.
There are so many stores you can get all your Christmas shopping done and I find it's much less crowded then NYC Macy's.

I have been a loyal fan of the Mall at Short Hills for many years...I remember it when Bonwit Teller and B. Altman were the anchors. It is a great mall and has probably the best lineup of stores around. In terms of restaurants, I miss Houlihans and Ruby Tuesday and am very surprised that Grand Lux Cafe or Cheesecake Factory hasn't yet opened here.
