The Filene's Running of the Brides:

And now it's here: at 8 a.m. on Friday (March 28) at Bergen Town Center (formerly known as the Bergen Mall), there will be expensive bridal gowns on sale.  Filene's Basement says that there will be dresses available from  $249-$699 that might otherwise cost as much as $10,000.

It's time to put aside your Little Black Dress for a Big White Gown, girls.
A note to the potential stampeder: Checks, credit cards and cash will be accepted, and all sales will be final.
(No returns if the dress transforms you into a Bridezilla!)

Spa Week is Coming!

It's that time of year again!

From April 14 to 20, area spas like @ Ease Spa, Christine Valmy Salon & Day Spa and Skin Care Center of NJ are giving treatments for $50 a pop. Pretty good, considering many treatments run up to twice the price on other weeks of the year.

Cuteness Overload: Easter-themed Shining Stars

Glum because you gave up meat for Lent?

One look at this little fellow, and you'll forget your troubles.

Like other Shining Stars, the Easter themed stuffed animals (including this Easter Chick, two  kinds of bunnies and a lamb) can be registered online. Kids can then interact online using the avatar that comes with the plushie. For the spring season, new Easter plushie registrations get you "double glow points" on the site.

The toy company, Russ, comes out with many holiday editions. But while you may not want a pilgrim-turkey all year round,  the Easter creatures could be fairly non-season-specific.

Maybe this little ball of yellow fuzz just can't wait to be a big sister.

Nothing Says Spring Like...Andy Warhol?
