It's now $10.50 for an adult ticket at AMC Loews Palisades Center in West Nyack, N.Y. (Students are $9.50, seniors are $8.50, and children 2 to 12 are $7.50. Matinee prices are $8.)
It went up in time for Spider-Man 3, a clerk told me last night. "[The increase is] so not worth it," he said. Ha.
It's still cheaper than seeing a movie in Manhattan, where adult tickets typically cost $11, and is equal to prices charged at Edgewater Multiplex Cinemas, but it's still one of the priciest movie theatres in the region. (Prices are $9.75 in Closter, $9.50 in Paramus, $9 in Westwood, and $8 in West Milford and at the Rialto in Ridgefield Park.)
It's still $4 - all the time, for everyone - to see a movie at Cedar Lane Cinemas in Teaneck.
