All Jacobs, all the time

Brandon Jacobs was a busy man Tuesday visiting several media outlets. And his take on his knee injury was a bit confusing: it's not bad, but maybe not good enough for him to play Sunday in Arizona.

Jacobs MRI showed no structural damage to his knee and the problem is not long-term. It's basically a matter if he will be ready to play against the Cards.

“I feel pretty good,” Jacobs said in a Sirius Radio interview. “I feel way better than I felt Sunday after the game. I did the same thing I did against Dallas last year [MCL sprain], but it’s nowhere near as bad as it was then. I’ll be fine. It’s my call and we’ll be all right.”

Later on ESPN he said, “I could line up and go play on Sunday if our team was in serious need of a running back. But as everyone knows, they’re not. We have a stable of horses lined up and ready to go. So I could play if I wanted to and I needed to, but I don’t know if they’ll let me.”

So it's probably going to be one of those all-week sagas which may not be finalized until game day.
