Andrew Gross
joined The Record in November, 2007 after 18 years of covering everything from high schools to colleges to minor league baseball to the pros -- particularly the NHL and the NFL -- for papers in New York. He won APSE awards while covering high school football and wrestling and, later, for breaking the story that Andy Rooney was not a big fan of sideline reporters. A Syracuse graduate and native of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Gross lives in Rockland County, N.Y. with his wife, two daughters, innumerable pets and his drum set. He graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in film and journalism. He was born and raised in Manhattan and lives in Fair Lawn with his wife, Cathleen, and daughter, Barbara.

a native of Queens, joined The Record in 1987. In 2005, he was part of The Record's award-winning team that exposed the financial workings inside the NJSIAA and forced changes in the way the association governs its own affairs and high school sports throughout the state. Greg covers boys soccer, wrestling and outdoor track. Greg lives in South Brunswick with his wife, Catherine, and beagle, Willow.
