IHA Tops Bloomfield in OT

IHA hangs on

BLOOMFIELD — Bloomfield is one of those NNJIL teams that sometimes flies under the radar in North Jersey circles. But if you want to know how challenging the Bengals can be, just ask the Immaculate Heart players.

IHA needed overtime to beat Bloomfield, 53-46. The Blue Eagles improve to 8-1 and hold on to first place in the NNJIL Division C.

Rob C reports a 12-3 final, Holy Spirit over St. Joe's in Absecon.

Coop has two more updates: New Milford 33-25 with eight minutes left. Hawthorne blocked the point after to keep the lead at eight points.

Also, Wayne Hills has a 20-6 lead with eight minutes left

Eddie Mills reports a 13-6 Hasbrouck Heights final over Cresskill.

Greg Mattura reports from Ramsey that Bosco blows it open in the thrid quarter against Paul VI with four touchdowns to extend its lead to 42-0.

Coop called in with a 20-0 Wayne Valley score over Paramus with nine minutes left.

Football Playoff Updates

Darren Cooper called in to tell us A.J. Scoppa just scored again to put New Milford ahead of Hawthorne 27-19 in the third quarter.

Coop also said Old Tappan was inside the Wayne Hills 20 yard line when the Golden Knights fumbled at the 7 yard line. Big hit by Ryan Salerno jarred the ball loose. Patriots still lead 17-0.

Rob Celentano is reporting that St. Joseph is down 6-3 at the end of the third. Holy Spirit scored a TD but missed the extra point.

Football Playoffs: More Scores....

Tim Leonard is reporting that New Milford leads Hawthorne 20-19 at halftime. New Milford's A.J. Scoppa has 146 rushing yards and hawthorne's Steve Hein has 140 yards on the ground.

Rob Celentano just called in from Absecon to inform us that St. Joseph leads Holy Spirit 3-0 at the half.

Adam Zagoria is reporting that Wayne Valley leads Paramus 13-0 at the half.

Ed Mills is reporting that Hasbrouck Heights leads Cresskill 7-0 at the half.
