So long, Minny

Nwairplane ...and hello San Francisco Bay area. Greetings from the Minneapolis airport, where the next leg of our journey begins.

Mike Mussina flew on the Yankees charter last night (the club got in about 2:30 a.m., Pacific). According to Moose, he believes he'll be throwing a bullpen session this weekend because his left hamstring strain isn't so bad.

Still, it's strange that Mussina would be spared a trip to the DL when Chien-Ming Wang, almost 13 years younger than Mussina, is still sidelined with essentially the same injury. So, we'll have to see Moose on a mound to believe he's not going to miss more time.

So Moose isn't that bad, yet he had to leave a game early? What happened to being a 'gamer' and sucking it up when your team needed a quality start? I know you don't want to make it worse then it has to be in April, but please.....
