Clemens out, Villone in?

Rocketclemens Clemens' hamstring injury could make an opening for our favorite lefty from Upper Saddle River. Yes, Ron Villone could be activated for the Division Series - thanks to a new rule about injured players during a playoff round.

"Brian (Cashman) and I were in the office and we're discussing that,'' Joe Torre said immediately after the Yankees' Game 3 win. He didn't mention any replacement candidates. But if Clemens were replaced for the balance of this Series, he would not be eligible to be reinstated for the ALCS.

"(The Rocket) wouldn't be eligible again until the World Series,'' Torre said. "So, it's something we're discussing and I can't give you.'' Clemens wasn't sure what his status would be. He limped off. Tune in tomorrow...the Yankees live another day.

Well I have to say that reality hurts but it could be the final time we see the Rocket pitch in a game again. But he's given the game of baseball a memorable time especially for the Yankees. I think he still hold the record for strikeouts. But for us Yankee fan everyone will probably remember always the game at Subway Series the clash between him and Mike Piazza . But we we're always glad that he was a Yankee and that he made our team meaningful. And he'll always be one of the Yankees greatest pitchers. For the game itself although I was worried at first because they were hitting in to a lot of dp's but as I unite with all Yankee Fans I never gave up on my Yankees and they won. As soon as Johnny Damon hit that homer just like everybody else I went nuts because this is The Yankees you can never count them out. I know we were donw 2-0 now we are 2-1. All I have to say cmon Yankee bats keep it going the Yankee bats finally woke up just like a volcano just waiting to erupt hopefully tomorrow this eruption can continue. GO YANKEES GO!!!!!!!!!!GO YANKEES GO!
