Just wondering...
The Yankees seem to have this game well in hand, have the bullpen rested and ready and for some reason have decided to ride CC Sabathia through eight innings and 113 pitches. While that may not be that odd - it is just a 4-1 game right now - the Yankees have openly spoken of using him three times in this series. Seven innings wasn't enough?
tough call... when its 4-1, and ur guy is rolling like cc was, why would yank him and put the game in the hands of someone else. maybe this comes back to bite us on the butt next week...

I would delete this, since it makes you look like a moron. If the Yankkes had pulled CC, nuts like you would have been complaining about Joe babying a 290 pound pitch who was killing the Halos all night. He made Abreu look silly. Why bring someone else? That's doing the Angels and Abreu a HUGE favor. Don't give them nothing!
Go back to the minors, Pete.

Alex,
Hey - I have to agree with you, I loved seeing CC go 8. And at the risk of tossing my buddy Steve Popper under the bus...well, I will. That was Pop's post, not mine.
But, at least hit the spell check next time.

That's low - just burying me. Actually, I did post that and I'm used to Mets pitchers collapsing in that extra inning. The one question about it is whether you wanted to go to the pen - get through that eighth inning without CC - and preserve him for Game 4. By the way, CC is a little sensitive about that 290-pound comment.
