As we contemplate the age-old question, "Why would anyone buy a Division Series Championship t-shirt?,'' welcome back to Tampa Bay -- where it's just like spring training all over again.
We arrived here early in the second week of February, when Chien-Ming Wang was the No. 3 starter, Xavier Nady was the starting right fielder, and Phil Hughes was the ace of Scranton. And here we are, eighth months later, with the Yankees less than a week away from Game 1 of the Division Series.
Joe Girardi will put this lineup out for CC Sabathia, as he goes for his 20th win tonight: Jeter, Hairston (LF), Teixeira, A-Rod, Swisher, Posada (C), Cano, Cabrera, Molina (DH, 5th career time - and who knows, he might just catch Burnett in a playoff game).
But other than trying to get CC his milestone victory, you'd expect the weekend games here to resemble something from March at Steinbrenner Field.
