If you are a husband arguing with a wife about plans for Friday night - or visa versa - maybe the one who wants to go out to dinner should give in.
Starting to look like this game is a keeper, one that you just might want to settle down in front of. Through five innings, AJ Burnett has dodged bullets of his own gun - four walks and two hit batters. But he has managed to strand every runner, holding a two-hit shutout through five.
And Nick Blackburn has been better. The Twins ace - hard to use that word when he was 11-11, but he has been their most reliable starter and even better down the stretch - didn't allow a hit until Robinson Cano looped an 0-2 pitch into center field with two out in the fifth.
