Seton Hall Madness

Theodore_gauchso_3Seton Hall did not hold a Midnight Madness last Friday night, but will host a "Madness After Midnight" on Thursday and the staff expects a number of high-profile recruits, according to The Trove.

Paterson Catholic guard Jordan Theodore and Patterson (N.C.) School wing Chris Turner are both expected to make their official visits.

"I am excited," said Theodore, a first-team Herald News All-Area selection. "I haven't been there since the day I committed so it will be fun."

Also among those expected are Theodore's teammates Fuquan Edwin, Jayon James, Trevor Clemmings, Shaquille Thomas and Myles Mack. Plainfield's Isaiah Epps was invited, along with Greg Echenique and Tristan Thompson of St. Benedict's; Dominic Rutledge of Edison Jobs Corps; and Omari Lawrence of St. Raymonds. As first reported by ZAGSBLOG, Edwin, James, Clemmings and Epps were offered scholarships as a group by head coach Bobby Gonzalez. All are sophomores.

Kevin Jones, Lance Stephenson and Tyreke Evans were all also invited, though it remains uncertain if they will come.
