Glover Done at Seton Hall

GloverMichael Glover's Seton Hall career ended before it ever began.

After the news came out last night, Seton Hall released a statement Thursday stating that Glover had been ruled ineligible by the NCAA to participate in men's college basketball.

"The University has exhausted all possible methods of appeal with the collegiate governing body," the statement said. "Pursuant to NCAA regulations, Glover will not be allowed to participate in any further basketball activities."

Glover, the younger brother of former St. John's standout Anthony Glover, becomes the second member of head coach Bobby Gonzalez's second recruiting class to leave the team. Shooting guard Chris Smith, the younger brother of Denver Nuggets guard JR Smith, originally committed to Seton Hall, but is now enrolled at Manhattan.

What's odd about this situation is that other freshmen from American Christian are currently playing college basketball. See Andre Tarver at Iona, a classmate of Glover's at AC.
